I didn't make it clear I'm afraid. The confidential meeting was called so that the CO could verbally transmit the decision via Zoom to all the elders in the circuit. It will all be done without a written word. I think that this will be verified in due course but Slim, I'm sure it is as I have said.

Cowardly Change of Policy in the UK
by Slidin Fast inthe britain branch has called a confidential meeting tonight with a controversial announcement.
the message is of such import that it was transmitted by word of mouth only, nothing in writing, ears only.
a decision made by the governing body of jehovah's witnesses and transmitted orally down the chain of command, a decision proving the leadership of this spirit lead body.. the gdpr laws in the uk have been interpreted by wt lawyers so that all record keeping relating to the public has been banned, telephone witnessing and letter writing also, forbidden.. now in a show of supreme bravado the publishers are to be informed that if they wish to, if they dare, they may write to people at their own risk.. bear in mind, nothing is in writing.

The Britain branch has called a confidential meeting tonight with a controversial announcement. The message is of such import that it was transmitted by word of mouth only, nothing in writing, ears only. A decision made by the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses and transmitted orally down the chain of command, a decision proving the leadership of this spirit lead body.
The GDPR laws in the UK have been interpreted by WT lawyers so that all record keeping relating to the public has been banned, telephone witnessing and letter writing also, forbidden.
Now in a show of supreme bravado the publishers are to be informed that if they wish to, if they dare, they may write to people at their own risk.
Bear in mind, nothing is in writing. This is purely a verbal command. Should a poor publisher be pulled up on this crime of writing and posting a letter, they will be on their own. The WT PLC has total deniability.
What a cowardly none event. There was a time when like it or not, there was some courage in the organisation. Now? They are just a bunch of spineless wimps.

Did you feel contempt for Non Witnesses
by Steel inthe other day i went to this farm owned by this jw lady with my wife being a jw and my mother being a non witness.
later taking to my mother she noticed this vibe like this jw lady really hated her.
she just had these little slags like when we tried to pay for the fruit we picked , she looked directly at my wife and said " don't worry about it, i only charge wordly people ".. i also have this aunt who is a jw we are estranged from.

I am not sure that it's contempt. I think it's an ingrained fear of getting caught up with a worldly associate. What if it's a neighbour who smiles in a friendly way? They may invite you for coffee, that would be baaaaad.
Better to be aloof and try not to encourage them to befriend us.
The result? An insular weird bunch with a kingdom smile but who seem too self righteous to lower themselves to be genuine friends.

The book "New Boy" is Free on Amazon For Down Load the Next 4 Days
by 1234 ina few people have posted that i wrote my book to "make money.
"yes, i have made some money from this book but nothing to the comparison to the 11 years it took to write it and the cost to produce it.money was the last thing on my mind on my list of motivations/priorities in writing of this book.
my thought was if i could circumvent the pain and suffering that the watchtower bible & tract society/ jehovah's witnesses has caused to just one person's life than the book has served its purpose.i'm happy to announce the book is free for down load on amazon for the next 5 days.enjoy my friends.keith casaronap.s if after reading it, if you could post a review on amazon i would greatly appreciate it.

I have read this book. It's a well written, readable and interesting book. It says so much about how things are in god's loving organisation. Excellent!

Baptism during Covid - pool must tough the ground?
by jwfacts inthe july 2020 announcements mentions that baptism can be held in an “inflatable pool” as long as it touches the ground.
the pool must not be “on a terrace, flat roof, balcony, etc.”.
has anyone ever noticed that as a requirement?.

Just a point about all this. The missive referred to gave detailed suggestions as to how people could be baptised, the only absolute places forbidden are the purpose built baptism pools owed by WT inc.
The only currently approved use for Kingdom Halls is for judicial committee hearings,
Is there a pattern here?

This is the truth.
dressed from the waist up,
I would love it if everyone had to stand up at some point. The farce of singing along to the songs in your own home is also hilarious. I wish that there could be an accidental unmute to hear the singing and the comments between watchers.
It is not a stretch to be watching the game on a TV in line with your device during the meetings. Life can be so much more entertaining.

This is excellent stuff. Anyone who followed the Australian High Commission should I think follow this. It will be short and sweet but at least it allows issues to be aired in public.
The victims representatives have made some excellent ground in the opening statements whilst the WT lawyer seems to be relying on rhetoric.
I am looking forward to watching more.

Every disclosure is another link in the chain.
When I was a fully integrated non-questioning dub I argued that these things happened jn all organisations, what distinguished our wonderful religion is how we dealt with these miscreants. I truly believed that we were distinguished by our fearless treatment of such people.
Now? Not so much.
